ASSIGNMENT:
Our client, a consulting firm, worked with an end client engaged in aluminium casting for automotive parts supplied to large OEMs. The end client had a capital expenditure of ₹70–80 crore. The consulting firm reviewed the plant commissioning, procurement processes, and associated costs, and was seeking an expert to validate their review and provide inputs on cost structures. The end client was based in Pune, and the need for plant visits was to be determined at a later stage.
OUTCOME:
